Studio 101 Invites you too...

… join us in a crazy little idea, possibly a moment of madness really, to throw a Christmas party on Sunday 13th December, to celebrate our working so successfully together over this past year. But before you start thinking that you are already spoilt for choice because you have the pick of any number of festive parties to attend at this time of year, this is no ordinary festive affair. At this Christmas part we will be shooting a Christmas music video starring YOU and US And Mariah Carey Yes you heard right ... Shes not coming... but her magical voice will be making its presence felt, because we will be shooting a Music Video Parody of All I want for Christmas. It is just a bit of fun but it will nonetheless be produced and directed by BMV Productions now recognised as the number one, dedicated, music video production company in the country so you will be in capable hands. However, we do not want you to think that this is not a proper Christmas party because it is very much so. We will be shooting the music video in and around you partying and having fun. In fact it is probably fairer to say that its not going to be a proper music video, because we will be bending quite a few rules but only to ensure that the end product is pretty special.

OBJECTIVES The two key objectives for shooting the Christmas music video are… a to help publicist the fact that the 101 studio will be undergoing a major transformation, in size and appearance, and launching an exciting new enterprise initiative for 2016 b to give some weighty exposure to the work of the clients that regularly use our studio. There is also a third objective, which is to try and create something interesting, enough to go viral or at least receive a lot of views and likes. There are some really interesting enterprise initiatives that regularly use the 101 Studio, and we think that shooting a cool, slick music video will help to increase interest and awareness of their talents and our studio. The idea is to, with your help, set up and film scenes and scenarios that show off your enterprise and you, to your best advantage, in a way that might draw attention and entice some to want to make further enquires, or get in touch, contact details will appear on screen.

SCREEN TIME We have planned the shoot to be able to give up to 15 enterprise initiative between 8 to 10 seconds worth of screen time to highlight their product or service, we did consider 21 Seconds but decided that would be too long. Exactly how we plan to do it, so that it all jollies along to the bounce and spirit of MCs Classic Christmas song is our secret, and is why we are using the best Video production team. As previously stated, we are going to be bending [possibly breaking] a few rules, but only to ensure that we end up with a quality product that is fit for purpose. The day will be split into an afternoon and evening session: Afternoon will be filmed during the daylight hours and we will be shooting scenes of you miming some of the words and also talking about you and what you do. We will also film and take professional photos of the make up artists making over the models and visa versa etc. The aim is to then shoot (among other things) a really cool runway scene that ends with the girls individually high five-ing the make up artists and stylists. Evening is the Christmas party, which we will shoot in real time, because it is a real Christmas party, whilst staging a few pre-rehearsed party scenes.

MODELS For practical reasons we have to put a cap on the number of models, male and female, we are able to engage on the day so if you want to be included you should reply to this email and probably notify a known studio representative, just to make certain, because it is a big shoot and we can accommodate a lot of interested participants, but even a lot has its limits, so be warned. In short, the music video is intended to be a fun bit of free publicity and promotion for all involved even if you have not actually used the studio. Just drop us a few lines asking for more details and someone will either message or, if you leave a number, call you back. It is a very organic process so if you give us enough time and notice, we can probably work your particular requirements into the music video narrative. It all sounds bewildering I am sure especially with the time restraints, but we do know what we are doing and that we can not do what we do without you, but you will need to act fast, as will we, because Sunday 13 is literally days away.
